My life...right now...

So this is my first blog...I guess a good starting point is to let you know what I am doing (in life) right now. I am currently studying psychology at the University of Central Missouri. After changing my major 4 times and taking about 3 years off cumulatively, I couldn't be more excited to be studying in this field. I have three very educated, engaging professors this year that are really stimulating my mind and making think about things in a different perspective. I have always been a natural observer of people and I am excited to be able to learn about the reasons why people do what they do and act how they act. Hopefully, A year from now, I will have my undergraduate degree and ready to take the next step. What is the next step for me?...Great question. I do plan on continuing my education in psychology, however, my first and truest passion is songwriting. I hope to put myself in a city where I can hopefully establish myself as a working musician/performer. Not to say that I can't continue my education while that is happening, but I haven't gotten to that point yet so it remains to be seen. All I know is that my next step is to get up tomorrow and get myself to the classroom. I have always been prone to hasty decisions, however, responsibility and being a "grown up" are ideas that are starting to sink in...I hope. :) Anyways, I think that this is a good start. Feel free to say hello anytime and comment on the blogs to come. Just a warning, there is bound to be a majority of them about music and psychology. My brain is overwhelmed with both right now.
